Buckle up, buttercup... this one isn't for those with short attention spans! As the ADHD remains untreated, the mental hopping from subject to subject is a little overwhelming. But, if you can hang in there, you might learn a lot... and might feel a little better by the end of this.
Tempest discusses all the superstitions that are tied with Friday the 13th and why it's never been a bad luck day for herself and other Pagans. Black cats, broken mirrors, the number 13 and what it all means from a witchy perspective.
Ultimately this is a prayer to the Goddess Aphrodite, because Friday the 13th is chock-full of sacred Goddess energy. This is for all the people who struggle to love their bodies, who feel unworthy or not beautiful... I'm no different from you. While for me, this is very much a yoni puja - worship of the pussy I feel ugly and unworthy too... but Friday the 13th is one of the best days to combat those darker feelings. Let's break these false images of being unworthy together. š„¹

Anonymousabout 1 year agoThere is a Japanese concept called Wabi-Sabi in which greater meditative value is found in that which is broken. Wabi-sabi nurtures all that is authentic by acknowledging three simple realities: nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect. The concept has been demonstrated by taking broken pottery and placing the pieces back together with gold, repairing the brokenness and making the vessel more beautiful than it was before it was broken.
Be kinder to yourself Tempest...none of us are perfect, even if we try to portray ourselves to be, not even those hot L.A. chicks š. Let your true acceptance of all of you, even that which is imperfect (in your eyes), be the gold to repair your beautiful vessel.
