Why deliberately start out making the main character so unlikable? P

clumsy storyline, clumsy writng. Proof read before publishing and learn about punctuation; it's used for a purpose

Brenda is just like dozens of other spoiled middle aged women I know. She has a generous side, which will come out in later chapters of this story. Still, she lives in Calabasas, in a huge house, has a profitable business. In short, she is a spoiled brat. Still, I don't think she is unlikable. I would like to know what part of her personality make her unlikable to you. Thanks
