Lost me on Page 1, because of references to things he'd said that I didn't see him say... If I read it correctly. (I was thrown-off early on by an author's name that became a surname later in the story.)

Like the name-change... But the reason is unbelievable, & majority of story is beyond-laughably low-quality.
