My only suggestion would be that when you are referring to people the desired word is “their” not “there”… overall fun read.

Why was she hurt after he gave her the ring,, there is so much that I think was left out of this story,,, 4⭐️
A well crafted story... I quite enjoyed it. I am left confused as to what she was hurt by after he gave her the ring.
Wonderful. Loved the last sentence but that came around to quickly. A great story and thoroughly enjoyable.
Like others I'm a bit confused about several things. I get that the terrible thing that happened to her was the party. What I didn't get, again as others said, was the HOPE in the paintings and what it was that he held back from her? Never the less, 5 stars for a great story.
I liked the story but was confused at time about what was going on. Can't fault a story for having a happy ending, and this one did. Thanks
Meanderlwc, ditto. Felt the same way but it was still a very enjoyable story. I'd like to rest the one with the extra stuff that was added to or simply skipped though.
Why do I feel there was a whole lot of story we were not privy to. It is like there was a whole sub plot going on that wasn’t written into the story. There were times i had to re-read sections because i kept thinking I missed something but eventually realizing that I never would get clarity. I did enjoy the story, but felt that it could have been more complete.
I’ve been asked to explain the park scene and the lack of guards surrounding her. Honest answer, the guards gave Caroline the false sense of freedom. I’ve been told that she would have been in more danger without bodyguards in the park than she would be in an airport.
Frankly your talking rubbish. A bodyguard would stick to you like glue at an airport because of more people and almost none existent personal space. On a morning run around a park, if you can tell the difference between a jogger and a security guard jogging the course, cycling the course or sitting on a park bench with his hand wrapped around an automatic, then kudos to you.
Caroline was given her personal space around the park yet was still closely watched. She even admitted the same to Jeff later in the story when they went to dinner.
If you want to advertise a security guard’s presents, then hire the six foot ten, three hundred pound guys. If you don’t, then hire the guys and girls that look like Joe average, has a black belt in at least two martial arts and can shoot the eye out of a moving target and not put a spot of blood on his employer
i have never met someone who was fussy about shortening their name that wasn't an asshole
