I took his hand again and squeezed it. "Someone who loved you so deeply wouldn't want you to be lonely. If she's looking down on you now, she knows you haven't stopped loving her. She'd want you to start living for yourself, and your needs."

Andrew didn't reply, but after a few moments he thoughtfully pulled up a blanket folded at the foot of the bed to cover me. I stayed with him, my head resting on his warm chest, fingers laced with his, as he quietly sorted through his thoughts and combed his fingers through my hair.

I loved it. The characters both feel like realistic people, and I think this is the best trans guy story on here tbh
