I have read many a story about this kind of activity and I can tell you that this story is fake, or at least spiced up. For instance it is quite easy to talk to someone with the door to say a bathroom closed. the dialog at the beginning of the story felt way too fake. if this happened then I'm sorry but I think you were reading a script. this kind of thing just doesn't happen.
