A fairy tale romance, with a knight in shining armor, a fairy princess, and a really stupid half ass dragon. Just another dumb shit with a paper asshole who thinks he can shit fire. Why do these stories devolve into violence as male try to prove their manhood? And any fool who allows a foreigner on the run to enter his home to see his soon-to-be ex-wife is an idiot.

the real kicker is that he's returned to Kansas City knowing he's skipped bail. That's foreshadowing. that runs counter to the stage where he comes back, only to get thrown in jail for skipping bail. And there's no indication that he's a wealthy man prepared to care for her.

Others are correct, this story is rushed and incomplete.

Hell of a lot of bond for a DUI!! Home, car and all possessions for 5000 bail bond that would mean putting down $500. Canadian or not. Running to Canada would help him either.

Really liked the story, disagree with the cheater comment as Laird fled to Canada and abandoned her to the bill collectors which faced her with Bankruptcy and filed for a divorce. According to the storyline she got involved with Eric as the divorce was becoming final. Looks like a solid foundation for a marriage to me. 5/5
