Given the scope of the set-up & the financial motivation of those involved, I sincerely doubt a safe word would have been honored if it had been spoken. No, those girls were as good as gone the moment they were identified & the safe word, signed agreements, & the rest of the evening merely beginning gambits in their psychological slave training. Poor little innocents are ripe for molding now to their new reality.
