Ch. 2: face-stealing spider thing

This story continues to impress with every new chapter. You leave bread crumbs in every chapter and, so far, have only left me wanting more. I do wish you could release them more often but I don’t want you to feel rushed and deliver a sub par result. Some of the plot seeds I am still waiting to see grow:

1. What happened to the elf girl who Alister was in the dungeon with. Then in a later chapter he returns a book and tells Mel the back story about how they survived a dungeon for months, the elf (I forgot the name) runs out to presumably either inquire into him or report it to the royal family.

2. What was the phrase that Mel used when she told Alister’s team about who she was searching for? It was spoken in Oni and never translated for the reader. If I remember correctly, it was more a title than a name.

3. Something about Jackel has me wondering about his backstory. There’s no specific text in any chapter, but my impression of him is something about him is off. I Don know if I am reading into his character because he reminds me of someone I know or if this was intended as a setup for later. But I’m interested in his character arc as well.

4. Allister’s ability Eyes of the Goddess implies a divine influence in this world. I imagine that if someone has that ability, then that person would also stand out to whatever Goddess he is invoking. So I’m guessing that there may some divine intervention in future events.

5. The story is mostly through the eyes of Allie with some others thrown in. But one POV not introduced is from the dungeon masters. By that I mean the monsters are not intelligent, but is there an intelligence behind them? Have the races of this realm any idea what or who is behind the dungeons spawning?

You are just getting started. Obvious threads:

A develop interaction with beastmaster, and maybe the cat he saved

B level up intelligence to see mace’s full potential

C What happened to the oni that he gave his life to save, and how did Allie survive. Possibly have her in line for the throne

D Winning a tome on body modification- possibly reducing one problem, and maybe breast reduction for Val which enables a much greater weapon selection

E more sex

F resolving group dynamics with existing team versus splitting off into another team versus having part of existing team killed / unable to be saved

G what happened to the missing team

H unlocking more abilities for each member (Allie and his harem)

I more members added to harem #groupsex

J unlock mental two way communication or influence ability as develops EYES OF THE GODDESS skill set. Perhaps stumble upon psionic ability

The only two things really that haven't been covered so far (as of Ch 24) is D, and the last one J (although technically J has been 'partially' covered).
