I'll admit here and now that I broke down. I wanted nothing more than to make Mum my wife but no-one would ever allow it. She got down on the floor in front of me and wrapped me in a hug, kissing my cheeks to clear away the tears. "Of course I'll wear it. And I'll never take it off," she said quietly.
I felt the smile form as I wiped my eyes. I took the ring from the box and, with hands slightly shaking, placed the ring on the third finger of her left hand. I then took the second box from the bag, handing it over. Mum opened the box and smiled before placing the ring on the third finger of my left hand.
"I now pronounce us husband and wife," she said quietly. I couldn't help the chuckle and sob at the same time. She simply stroked my cheek, as she always did. "I love you, my son."
I leaned forward and kissed her gently on the lips. "I love you, Mum."
A smirk then appeared. "So, should we now go into the bedroom and consummate the marriage?"
I couldn't help the laugh. "I think we should spend the rest of the weekend doing that."
That is exactly what we did. And I knew I would spend the rest of my life proving my love and devotion towards her. Because, after all, that is what any son would do for their mother.

Anonymous7 months agoWell that was a bit different from the usual M/S incest stories. Not really much of that usual hesitation or pages of will-they-wont-they and debate over the morals of it all and such. Just a beautiful, somewhat slowburn romance between a loving mother and her adoring son. It felt so natural to me.
I'll admit, I let a few tears go at the end there. It was quite emotional. Such a beautiful love. I hope to read more like this. You could really feel the depth of their love and commitment to each other. I wish there was more, perhaps them moving away to a new place, finding a way to get married for real, having children, raising them, etc. A few other stories do just those things and it's honestly a true pleasure to read such tales.
Anonymous9 months agoIt was well developed so as to be natural, omitting the obvious taboos. It is as confusing as transgendered or queer relationships. I used to wonder why in the story of Adam and Eve, how Caine ever procreate if they were the only people alive in the world. Like the aftermath of Sodom and Gomorrah, when Lot was seduced by his daughters.

Another superbly written love story!
This is the second composition of yours I've read, Temptation being the first.
And once again, high marks to you as an author for writing fine quality work.
Your story makes me want to visit paris.
Maybe if I did, your protagonists in this story would still be there on the observation deck, gazing out on the city of lights and clinging to one another in wonderment, the lingering wetness of their shared kiss shining brightly on their lips in proof of the love they shared there.
