Letting the tension build is one of the most dramatic ways to write a story. There is an act of passion, fury, daring courage or dreadful evil on the first page. You follow the action with bated breath, waiting for the resolution, and when it comes, you can finally relax. You draw a long breath, not realizing that you have been holding it for some time, and sigh. If you enjoy stories of suspense and thrills, some very good writers have contributed stories that will keep you hanging by a thread.Thank you to the readers who make Literotica a fun place to write, and thanks to Laurel and the site for giving us a place to post our stories. Thank you to the wonderful writers who contributed stories. I hope you enjoy "Hanging by a Thread."

Be ready to read some great, and a few decent stories in December. Remember to remain 6 feet from your favorite author and always wear a mask while reading.
