Consequences Ch. 03

Julia Rodriguez was just pulling out of her parking spot when she saw the attack. She grabbed her service weapon and bolted out of the car, yelling "STOP!" But it was too late; the Impala screeched off, driving west.

Getting back into her car, Julia grabbed her Police radio and hit the 'Break' button. After the loud noise, she said "Break break break! Officer abducted! Officer abducted!" followed by the car description and tag number.

Hearing the radio blast, Laurer and Scott looked around. "Behind us!" yelled Joan, who was riding shotgun. Penny executed a U-turn as Joan turned on the lightbar and siren. But just as they got turned around, another old car going east suddenly swerved into their lane!

*CRUNCH!*

The cars collided. "Ambush!" yelled Joan, seeing two black men, not masked, get out of the other car with guns in their hands. They were on Penny's side, so she did not open the driver's door. Joan opened hers, having some protection, yelled "Police! Drop your weapons!", then started shooting back when one of them fired at her.

By now, Julia was coming out of the parking lot, and saw the collided cars. She pulled up and came out of the driver's side, her own service weapon firing at the perps. The two perps died, their bodies riddled with accurate Police gunfire. But their mission was accomplished.

"We lost her." Joan Laurer said, among other words not fit to be printed here.

Julia got on her radio and reported in. "Officer abducted, Officer abducted." She gave the direction the Impala went, then said "We've lost them..."
