As Joann drove home, she attempted to sort out her feelings, her perfect life suddenly had a very hefty price tag attached to it if she wanted to keep it and keep her husband living his dream. If she accepted his offer, she would have a secret life as a company whore. She wasn't quite sure where this path might take her or what she would end up doing to pay the piper.
That evening after a few glasses of wine and self-reflection she called the number he gave her, and she agreed to do it with a few small demands just to give the illusion it was her decision and that she was in control of the situation.
This new chapter of her life was just beginning her first social meeting was tentatively scheduled for next week with a group of oil executives. She was already thinking about what type of outfit to wear. Maybe just once she would try it out just so Tim could keep his job. Maybe she could buy a new convertible and some expensive clothes and shoes, lots and lots of shoes and jewelry, very elegant jewelry.
