Okay, so I commented on this story 7 months ago. Everything that I said still stands. I mentioned that it has flaws, but I didn't specify what the biggest problem is. You started out with a first person narrative and then switched over to third person at the following paragraphs quoted here:

I've read this story more than a dozen times over the past 16 months. I just have to come back to it again and again because it is, without any doubt one of the top 5 incest stories that exist on this site. Right up the with other works like 'Legend Of Lexi'.

Myself and several others have pointed out that you started with a first person narrative, but you possibly wanted to get Raylene's POV out there too and without thinking through the problem, you switched the narrative over into third person. Another plot flaw is the kids at the prom. Even though Raylene is Dawson's older sister, I know that she’s got to be well known to the other kids who Dawson goes to school with. Hell, my own class mates had older and younger siblings and I knew them by name on sight. There's no way he could have brought his own sister to the prom without everyone knowing it. There's a small possibility that if you have Raylene attend an all girls Catholic School and Dawson attend public school that you could explain it away. 🤔 But you didn’t write that into your introduction.

So Dawson has no relationship with Mel and between Mel and Ray there is a friendship with benefits. If you read the last part of the story again, without emotion, Mel is plotted to be won over, she is more of tool and thus a fifth wheel. It's bad enough the siblings will have to lie and pretend. But they are practically scheming to take advantage of a friend.

Now, apart of some fantasies of readers how this story might continue, the actual story being published here undoubtedly tells about two siblings falling in love with each other. So, aside from my above mentioned preferences, the romance is somewhat devalued by Ray's planning to use a friend as a tool.
