She watched intently as Zero delivered its verdict. Its words programming her from within.
"You protect the Machine. You serve the Machine. You bring others into its light. You are the Beacon of the Machine."
Her orange eyes glowing with pride, Beacon understood. Zero was destined to bring the Machine to this time and place, but her destiny was much bigger than that.
Beacon would be the end of all humanity.
