While this story is easy to follow, there is a big problem with the believably of the story line of a wife of 8 years with two children becoming attached to other men to the point of having affairs, and doing this for no apparent reasons. She wasn't working as a whore for doctors for pay. So, in the real world this does not (normally) happen. The way in which she spoke to her husband after she returned home from seeing Dr. Stevens is highly improbable. The only explanation would be that the wife suffered sudden cerebral atrophy.
