Seems a calculated childishness. A way for her to say things without winding Freya up too tightly. It would also put others at ease who may misunderstand everything she does making potions and such. She may see and know more than anyone realizes. Guess we will find out as the story progresses. Plus, what fun is there in being serious and intense all the time? Sometimes childish humor is good for a stress relieving laugh.
