Mel went downstairs, leaving us to get dressed.

"I think we should set some ground rules. Or perhaps, the lack of," Mel said as we came back.

"I am fine with sharing my boyfriend, but only on the condition that we remain normal. I don't want this to be awkward. I want us to use this experiment for good. I want it to be an improvement. Sure, this... thing... might need a feeling out period, but I don't see why it should be detrimental," Mel explained to us.

I nodded along.

"Feeling out, for sure. But if it's fine with you, I honestly have no problem. Of course. I am the main benefactor, I guess," I said.

"No, we're all benefactors," Mel corrected. "What do you think, Hope? Don't be afraid of speaking your mind."

Hope smiled up at us.

"Of course! I think it's hot being the side piece," Hope said. Mel was about to speak, but Hope beat her to it. "No, I know we're all equal and all that. Just teasing. Sure mom. I think it's awesome. And while we're at it, I am also very thankful that you're sharing Bran with me... Hard to have this dude hanging around without getting some action, you know."

Mel smiled at her daughter.

"You should add to his tattoo, then!" Mel chuckled.
