In chapter one and chapter three, mention is made of Viv having had a hysterectomy. Either you don't know what that procedure is or you've failed to make the connection. In case you don't know, it is surgical removal of the womb. If you did know that but didn't make the connection; without a womb a woman cannot get pregnant.
