Im glad you have more story to go looking forward to reading it.
Well ... you had me 129 chapters in but now Im done. Though I have been on the fence the last 20ish. I couldn't even finish this one.
It was getting over the top with the gang-bang, and the whole nun/marigold thing could have been just as easily written without Cal's participation if you just wanted to elaborate on Succubi transformation and 'the north' as your excuse was.
Cal's unwillingness to harm, command, or even apply consequences to evil creatures when/after an innocent person is being harmed or in danger, especially from evil creatures, completely contradicts the 'lawful good' that he keeps being portrayed as. How he is still considered 'good' at all is beyond me.
Im also baffled how this character can have access to gods and demigods and not have the forethought to ward himself in such a way as to prevent these things. He should now for reasons be even MORE careful than usual.
And that is all resting on the idea that he doesn't have access to his power, which he has shown conscious access to in the past, before recent events, and should have even more access too at this point.
This chapter had opportunity to allow him to show some strength of character/alignment and come into some his power. Instead the consistent illogical, and in many cases downright stupid, choices he makes and his lack of character progression have put the final nail in the coffin. Thanks for the entertainment while it lasted. Im disappointed I don't have this to look forward to anymore.
Well, this was the last straw. Same as with the succubi, Cal is completely unwilling to stop or punish evil acts despite being apparently lawful good. He would have so much power available but is using none of it to stop the most evil acts it just doesn't work with the character.
