Lacking someone to proofread and edit is no excuse for not taking a look at your own work, before publishing it. Two versions of the same paragraph right after another is not an acceptable'feature'.

I'd overall recommend starting again. Overhaul the parts already published, work on continuity and maybe even on some details.

It's true you could use some editing help, but don't let that discourage you from telling your story.

Not getting an editor might lose you some readers. I think that would be the best direction to go, but if you are finding it difficult to obtain one on Lit, then perhaps ask your readers for any volunteers. Perhaps the Anonymous person that complained below might be interested.
