First off after hearing about how they own half the cops and judges, he just headed the assistant DA his phone. Why would he blindly trust her, and then gave her his wife's phone instead of looking through it. He was afraid of going into protection but has no problem with her, I hate it when the writers try n make these MCs look start and tuff but they write them dum as a brick.

I get why he don't have a gun already, fair enough, But given what has happened and what he knows now, I be getting one for sure.

And taking into account the way the local cops ruled the other husbands death as suicide I would have left my car behind and found another way to get to my mates place, I think the bad guys would have the cops looking for his car if they have that much influence over them.

I had to go back and read it again to make sure I had it right, all the while laughing out loud. This was a brilliant piece of dark satire worthy of any comedy movie, and I’m still laughing as I imagine the headless body with hands tied behind it’s back while the cops declare it was obviously suicide. Of course, he could have been attacked by a school of Mukla in a feeding frenzy, but they obviously ruled that one out.

In my opinion the plot is fine. As we all know there are idiots, morons, and their closely related cousins, fucktards and fuckwads, that are as smart as a 5 lbs brick. The mindless passion that drive those imbeciles toward such reckless behavior is rarely filtered through intelligence. Hence there are real life actions that don't just verge on the stupid but dive right in to it's center. So, yeah, people like the female protaginist do exist, and usually multiply their numbers at a geometric rate. And if someone takes offence at my words and their intent, then maybe you need a longer session with the mirror.
