So damn nice. Seriously, you have no idea.

See, I received an e-mail today from someone who wanted me to check out a story-in-the-works of hers. She described it as "sort of a cross between your 'Friday Night in San Francisco' piece and 'Summer Voodoo.' It's like a sexy travel log."

Well, okay, maybe if it was written by a first-year English student in Uzbekistan. Picture the worst dreck you've ever read, then imagine it being chopped to bits by a dyslexic mountain gorilla with a nasty crack habit.

After subjecting myself to that trainwreck, imagine how comforting it was to pour over this chapter three of "Exhibitions" again. Brilliant imagery, clever narration, engaging dialogue, proper pacing, and everything is superbly written...like a shimmering oasis to a man dying of thirst in the Sahara.

You're rather adept at this smut-writing stuff. Hell, you make me want to learn French.

Annanova. Surely you will have more installations in this exhibition series...?

Anna, this was an extremely well written piece of eroticism. Your word mastery of both English and Canadian French is marvelous. The syncopy throughout the day that Anna and Van enjoyed created a magnificent sexual tension. Anna's femininity was most apparent and appreciated.

An aspect of your stories which I appreciate are the lack of scalar measurements. Van's penis was thick and not the trite "8" by 4" around". Anna's breasts were ample but not 36 DD or 44FFF or 66ZZZZ. When authors introduce such bull crap into their stories, the story's rhythm is lost. I, as a reader, prefer to imagine what an ample breast is for me (I can only hold so much or taste so much!). Most men who have never laundered a woman's intimate garments, would really know a size anyways. A woman who is being made love to, doesn't need to know a 2x4 x1 foot piece of lumber is about to penetrate her poon tang. So keep on with your manner of description, Anna.

Also, public sex is fantastic and often in a man's sexual bucket-list. Perhaps it is the same for a female. Of course, there are exceptions for both sexes. Not for me, at least anymore, and for a a very dear woman in my past and still in my memories!

Lastly, as I mentioned above, your vocabulary (and grammar/usage) is beautiful. I must ask you, however, about Poutine. I know it is pronounced with an "sh" sound of sorts. But the English phonetic pronunciation of Poutine is similar to Poon Tang (pussy, vagina,...) Did you purposely include this double-entrende? If so...very clever. If not, guess I am perverted!

I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, but this chapter was magnificent, Anna. You have such a wonderful way of capturing a moment, a place, a setting. This was such an elegant, powerful story.

The situations you set up were very clever. Your characters were very much alive and believable, especially the thoughts going through Anna's head while she was experiencing her exposure. I remember reading this series a long time ago. I don't remember enough of the previous version as a reference with which to compare this version.

I do have a question. Are you a French Canadian? I am not. To me, all of the French phrases and sentences made no sense. The interaction between Anna and the waitress was lost to me. I have enough trouble with American English. Having observed the conversation in French between Anna and the waitress pushed me right out of the story. During the interaction I needed to see the literary equivalent of subtitles. That would have kept me in the story.

Otherwise, I still enjoyed this series. You also left me with a craving for Poutine. I can't find anyone who serves it in my area.

Great progression of scenes with a promise of even more. I agree with the earlier commented about not having the scalars freeing us up to imagine them, and this is despite that normally I like a lot of descriptives. You're filling in my need for description without recourse to the numbers and it is very well done.
