Molly filed a sexual harassment charge against John and received a high six-figure settlement. She moved to California and was engaged to a widower who had three young daughters. Other people might have tried to destroy her, but not me. It was totally awesome being a father.

John was involuntarily retired due to poor performance. It seems an important contract that he was responsible for was written up incorrectly. Something about the word 'and' being replaced by another word 'or' in several key spots. Gail divorced him after that. She remarried a conman, and he stole her last penny. It's amazing how bad things keep happening to bad people.

At this time, I could write a witty 1 line statement or tell a joke, but that would be copying someone else's genius.

Aw screw it. "Il nous faut de l'audace, encore de l'audace, toujours de l'audace!" -- Georges Jacques Danton

6.12.24. Good ending. Writing is good There were a couple places that seemed to drag but overall good. The Mars connection just felt wrong to me. The throw her over your shoulder approach was perfect. He made sure he prevented the sex even though he planned to divorce her. Good move.

Liked this alternative ending. Thanks for posting it. John.

Where was the threatened retribution on John and Gail? Why didn't he sue her company and at least get John fired? He told Gail he would sue...but then didn't? He also told Gail he would sue her...but didn't? He told John that "the four horses of the apocalypse will be riding into your life", but did nothing to him? A lot of threats made, but not followed through.

Not enough burning on Molly. Although Tom stopped her, she had ever intention of getting together with John. Too bad, you had a great story until the end. However, John and Gail got their comeuppance. The problem I have is the story had a good potential outcome, but it didn't happen.

One star was perhaps a tad generous, as someone had obviously overdone the mushrooms, quite dramatically!

Confusing, muddled, and inexplicable! In a word, balmy!
