Your story has possibilities. I think it would be hotter if the dad & mom decided they wanted to couple permanently with their son/daughter. Dad with the daughter and son with the mother. Maybe even get a bigger house so that they could be together, but still live as father/daughter and mother/son. Separate apartments in the same house. The daughter could be the father's new wife and the son is the mother's new husband, sounds corny, but it would be soo hot, or if you want maybe the they could be same sex couples instead, father/son,or mother/daughter, that would even hotter.
