Interesting story. An intricate dance between two somewhat damaged people and with history. It always felt that they would eventually make it click, but not a certainty.

I really enjoyed it. There are a lot of characters with a lot of linkages - of varying intensity - that you wove together very effectively. Sometimes, I got the characters mixed up (the minor ones) but that's probably more to do with me than you. It's a story that feels real and I'm very interested to see how it develops.

Good story, but the author should have listed it as a Part 1. I never read a story that is not complete as there are literally thousands of unfinished stories on this site.

The fact that both of the women that he is with happen to be into spanking (and presumably will want to call him "Daddy") makes them lack uniqueness and makes the future "erotic" scenes more tedious than I would hope (not into spanking or "Daddy" talk). Also he goes from not being interested to willing to be in a relationship with her, even after she treated him like shit, too quickly. Sure he had a crush on her but that isn't the same thing as love, I was worried that the story would do the ramp up and then end, and I was right. Disappointed by that, otherwise a solid story. 4/5

I so agree with the poster 3 comments down. i never read a story that is not complete either. I don't want to be strung along to part 74. The 'daddy' issues/images were also annoying. But ultimately I loved the story because of its literate-ness. Don't know if I will read part 2, though - I don't think anything needs added to this story, so it can only go downhill.

Thank you for your hard work, this was really a great story that I enjoyed ver much - 5/5! I agree with JusteenK and des911 - complex, slightly broken characters, woven together effectively. Not a lot of stories here have this high quality. On a minor note, that both girls have a Daddy-kink feels not as realistic as the rest of your story.

I felt the Chloe relationship was a little disconnected from a readers standpoint. I "get" what you were trying to do, but still feel we didn't get enough insight into where his head was at getting discharged. I do like the sexual setup for what we're seeing revealed with Lils. 5*

Complex and well written, but I didn't really feel any of the characters were particularly likeable, especially Lily. She loves herself too much for my tastes. Should have labelled this as part 1 and I would have skipped it.

Poor Mike. Lily is a really draining, needy narcissist...

I don't typically comment in a series until the final chapter, but I hope the comments that were left prior to me reading this doesn't change the ending and give some closure. Kind of why I have to jump in now. I needed to say, this was extremely well written, technically as well as just good storytelling. That is not easy to do, and this story must have been extremely difficult in every aspect. Bravo. I know just how hard it can be, though my talent pales in your shadow, and it's comments like below that make me turn them off in my stories. Despite all that, thanks for sharing.
