All Comments on 'FH: Just Found Heaven Ch. 04: Ben'

Another amazing and extensive chapter. Chapter that could stand as story for itself, but also gives wide inside and background to the tale. We have learned a lot about Ben's past. I've cried reading deep emotional lines about Ben being disowned from the family for being gay. His life with Charlie was both touchy and charming, as Father Patrick said - they were not in love, but it was love for sure. It was interesting to remember part of the story when Ben left for Cuba and see it from his POV. I am so happy that his brother came to wedding and hope that other members of the family will come around in the future. Beautiful love story continues, and I enjoy every new chapter. Bravo JJ!

Wow- this is just an astonishingly beautiful chapter. You are an incredibly talented writer- not just on this site- but in any genre I’ve ever read. The way you bring Ben and Sam to life, they tug at my heartstrings like they were real friends. My visceral dislike for Max is something I’m sure I’ll work through in future stories, but that is a testament to your writing talents as well! Thank you for sharing your creative gifts with us.

Anonymous, I truly appreciate those kind words of support! I think out every aspect of my characters and my stories so they hold as true to the theme and the characters themselves as I can make them, even when the characters aren't loved lol. Like Max. He is who he's supposed to be and no character is going to be for everyone, but art is supposed to produce reactions whether good or bad. However on that note, I would suggest you skip the last chapter which is 90 percent Max and Roman and completely skip AIBo when I finally finish it this year and get it posted because it's all Max's POV and his story with Roman. But I encourage you to read anything else I post! I have so many things in the works and just no time to do them all, especially with the MS fatigue. But I will keep trucking along! Cane23, I'm so glad you're following along. Ben's chapter was the hardest to write because first person narrative is always tough and more so when you have multiple POV back to back. But I felt it important to show his perspective of the first time they met at the funeral home and of course his POV in Viba as well as his past and how he went from wearing his "high-end hooker hoodie" lol yo becoming a priest. I'm glad folks seem to feel I managed that. The next chapters will be a bit delayed because I have to resubmit them after making minor changes but since I'm not feeling so great healthwise it will be maybe another couple of weeks.
