"Of course," I said.

The kids are growing like weeds and developing quite nicely. The other day, I picked Jenny up and saw the specks in her eyes twinkle. Then I heard, "love da" in my mind. I smiled and kissed her pretty face.

"I love you too, sweetheart," I told her. She smiled back and I felt surrounded by a blanket of love.

"Sweetheart," Ginger said when I set Jenny back into her crib. I turned to look at her.

"What's up?" I asked.

Great story. So much material to continue with a very long series of adventures.

Wow. This story has so many things I don’t like. It’s longer than I like. It has sci-fi fantasy which is of no interest to me. I could go on. And yet this is a great story. Interesting characters, compelling plot, unique concepts, flashes of humour. I’m glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and stuck with the story through to the end.
