Another good story spoiled by silly mistakes.

'Peaked' is different from 'peeked', which is what you meant.

You managed to write that the ride (to the resort) was 15 to 20 minutes away. No. The resort was.

Kings and queens reign; horses have reins.

Thre are more errors.

Get an editor, please! I'll do it for you!
