These guys are just so heartbreaking. Your depictions of the complexities and inconsistencies of the human psyche are spot on. Brilliant. Love your writing.
And for reading such a long piece. I wanted to do something that wasn't so formula and it got out of hand. Glad someone enjoyed it. :-)

for allowing me to read the story before it went public. As always, it was my pleasure to read for you. There was so much happening in this chapter of the series laying your framework for the future of several characters here, that it had to be the full 7 pages, but that hardly makes it an epic. Your followers will stick with the chapter because of the characters you've built (your characters are always so rich and likeable.)
Even Frost, who seemed so wicked, had his moments which lends realism to the story. I personally like when you write a little on the darkside, but no matter what you write, we know it will always be exquisite writing, strong, developed characters, and simply a joy to read... always. Again, thank you for indulging me and making it possible for me to read at all. You have brightened my days with your lovely stories. Thanks.
Always appreciate your feedback and your support.

I'm not sure all of the characters are likeable, but they are certainly compelling.
To be invited into the Clearwater universe is an honour - Jesse meets a different kind of older man in our collaboration "The Floating World Part 04."

Yes, I don't find Frost particularly likable myself, but he is part of the arc.Jesse definitely has a healthier time with Adam in Floating World. Poor guy. But as I've always said of what I write, things get bad before they get better. It's how people grow. It's a character...arc... journey? Something like that. I forget. ;-P

At least now Jesse knows he wants to be alive and that there are things he still cares enough about his body to not want
I've read this story before, I really liked it then and love it now. I feel sad that I can't give it 5 stars
