This resonated with me, on several levels. I was the teacher, trapped in a self-imposed prison of loneliness. Then a lady who had been my student came along and freed me. We were married for over 20 years. She passed away about seven years ago, but I'll never forget what she did for me, and the love we shared.

Generally well-written, although an editor / proofreader wouldn't hurt. This works fine as a stand-alone story, but if there will be a Chapter 2, I'll read it!

Catholics aren't banned from communion after divorce;

only if they remarry after a divorce

(without annulment of the first marriage)

Maybe with a second part. As it stands it's an Erotic Coupling story.

It is unrealistic to expect her to change so quickly after years of emotional distress. Typos and errors were distracting. I’m not catholic but there’s no need to dump on a religion in this story. A weak 4*.

Wonderful story. I actually would like a part 2, so they can get married, raise his children. Then they discover her infertility was a mistake, as she presents her husband with people that call her MOMMY...

Lovely story

Great story It cries out for another part or more. I hope you do a sequel as one of the anonymous people said before maybe there's marriage and maybe she's not really infertile so she might have a chance to become a mommy even at her age, 36 (which not that old). Tom 27 seems like thee guy just 9 years between them is not a lot now days.
