Loved how you captured the atmosphere and culture of small town middle class America. So many stories have the smart kid as unpopular or picked on, an outcaste and the jock as some dumb oaf. The truth is in a lot of high schools there is a sort of complex overlapping group of smart, athletic, and popular group of kids who sort of hang out at the same events and parties. You nailed it exactly. Nothing came off as unrealistic or fake. I also love stories with strict top and bottom characters so this hit the spot! No I want to read the story about how Marty ended up with Mack Truck!!! Please write that story!!! I have to know!!!
