Just Didn’t Like It Much ⭐⭐. Why was this tale re-released?

I don't understand why this one was republished. It was originally published around the end of July. I think I read it on or about 30 July. I know this because it had my "Just Didn't Like It Much ⭐⭐" rating at the end.

I don't remember it word for word. However, it is exactly the same tale with the same ending.

While I didn't really like it much it was a tale that I am sure others could enjoy.

I do not believe it is up to your high standards. Having said that it was an interesting plot line. As usual I cannot judge the grammar and structure. Your tales always have a good flow in their telling of the tale you wish to portray. That is why I enjoy consuming the products you create.

Keep Writing

CWG, Dude, are you okay? Isn't this a repost?

BigfundrewBigfundrew9 months ago

Geee..I'm hoping 5 more folks will mention this is a repost.

I'm glad you were able to fix the title. I got what you were trying to do with it (and mentioned in the first chapter intro)

This is a good story

Why was this reposted?

RosenkavalierRosenkavalier9 months ago

Why was this posted again?

And why under ”loving wives”?

It is still a very far fetched science fiction story. And this is where it belongs.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

@Nothingman83,

I'm with you 100%.

In my opinion it doesn't even go anywhere far enough to compare to reality.

Still enjoyed the story.

Good potboiler. As for the rest, the federal government is a cancer. Within 10 years we will be looking at widespread social and economic collapse, and the leotards will wonder how it happened.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Literotica either made a mistake and reposted this (most likely) or the author changed something I can't spot.

Why have you reposted this story. I read this several days ago.

another example

of a story, and I assume an author, doing down the rabbit hole.

When I look into conspiracy theories, I use the method used to sort out the Mafia - follow the money, or in the present case, who benefits?

This propensity to knock on the FBI benefits who?

Right wing-nut conspiracy non-sense. Three chapters of BS. Sorry I read it now. I don't mind a little right wing non-sense, but this really went off the rails. being generous with 2-stars.

Nasty56Nasty569 months ago

Repost obviously with the right title, hope you’re not done with the story! So glad it triggers the usual trolls!

onlythelonelyloveonlythelonelylove9 months ago

Ditto—why the repost?

cookingwithgascookingwithgas9 months agoAuthor

Sorry, everyone. I asked that the title be fixed to what I originally posted. If you're going to comment negatively for having to read it twice, there isn't much I can do about that. If any other author has a suggestion on how to correct a story title or category, please let me know here, or PM me.

The conspiracy theorist folks just crack me up. They must not be watching YouTube House and Senate hearings over the past several months. Plus the story is set ten years in the future, not now. I don't blame them, but I do blame their public school education. Intellectuals indeed!!! lol.

q) What's the difference between a conspiracy theory and front page news?

a) Six months.

Get your head out of the sand people. The only thing that keeps you thinking many things are conspiracy clap-trap is your unwillingness to look at the actual evidence.

Chemtrails are a perfect case in point. You can now find stories in mainstream media covering it from a fact-finding perspective. A senior meteorologist woman talked all about it on 'The Panel'. Another news report had the reporter standing next to a plane with the nozzles fitted to the wind as she told about it.

Aside from that, in my own country, Australia, laws have been passed for decades that give permission to certain operatives to do it, one such being the power company called the Snowy Mountain Hydroelectric Scheme, which goes back to the 1960's, if I remember.

The would not be any need to create laws covering it, if the technology is a fairytale.

Stop being willfully ignorant. You do yourself, and everybody else, a disservice with that attitude.

Sure, some things will not be true, there will always be crazies and people with an agenda out there... but a staggering amount of things that used to strictly be the domain of alternative, sensationalist and fringe media are now being confirmed with real evidence.

And one thing is true... 'following the money' is proven out, time and time again.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

@c24j,

See, that kind of comment does nothing for anyone, except to help distract people and prevent them from using their own common sense.

The author is associated with people who have some direct connection and insight into some issues that we face today, and created a fictional story built on that framework. There is a basis to what he is saying, whether you like it or not.

To roll out the flat earthers and all of that, and create an association, deliberately taints anything that might be worth investigating.

Have you not seen the news in the past few weeks where they discovered an illegal lab in Reedley, California in March, but kept it out of the news?

This lab had genetically modified mice, altered to allow them to contract and carry covid-19. Look up "News Conference: Covid Lab found in Central California" from KMPH FOX26 NEWS on y-tube. Also look up the video of Governor McCarthy answering questions about it to the press.

They not only found the mice and covid, but they found hep b and c, rubella, malaria, e-coli and pneumonia.

Put aside your political prejudices and listen to what was actually found.

This could have been written into the story, and would have been regarded as conspiracy theory garbage just as much as anything else included in this well-written, interesting story.

The_John_YossarianThe_John_Yossarian9 months ago

Yeah, you guys found out about the chemtrails. We're busted. The hundreds of thousands of pilots, two million or so mechanics, and ground personnel, along with every aircraft maintenance inspector, airplane manufacturer, weight & balance specialist, dispatcher, aeronautical engineer, air traffic controller, aviation regulatory personnel, and air safety investigator, hid this from y'all. It was tough removing those secret tanks and sprayers whenever a plane went into desert storage. It was also hard forging all those weight and balance documents to account for the several thousands of pounds of weight on board (heavier than jet fuel), which is a criminal offense. But y'all found us out. Seriously, folks, "chemtrails" was made up by Art Bell right before he lost his mind and told us about the Lizard People living inside the earth who'd been here since the dinosaurs. Believing in chemtrail lunacy impugns the reputation, honesty, and integrity of the aforementioned MILLIONS of people who'd need to be complicit in this.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Your blindness and biases had you leaping and fantasizing beyond even most right wing Texans' wet dreams. It could have been a really good story if you'd had your science and facts checked out by someone outside of your circle jerk club. Which you maybe could consider for future stories, as you clearly have the talent.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

I grew up in the 70's. What I find really funny is that back then all the 'conspiracy theorists' were considered left wing nut-job extremists.

That's because back then, the big money was alligned with right wing principles.

You people all get led along by your nose rings. Politics just responds to popularism. Anything that rankles sensibilities just gets spun as belonging to whatever is the least favored among mass media.

You're all so dumb. Especially those who consider themselves intelligent and sensible. You're the worst.

It's a pity you have no memory of that earlier era. You would be able to recognise that it was a large, true grass-roots movement, where there was a real sense of change, seeking personal freedom from tyranny. If you had some sense of that, you would recognize the exact same sentiment in people that they are trying to ostracize now.

What really is funny... is that Tucker Carlson (considered extremely right-wing), Trump, RFK Jr (Dem) and Russell Brand (considered very left-wing, to the point that a few years ago they wouldn't let him into Fox) are all now on a very friendly basis, agree on many things, agree to disagree on others but still respect each other. Each of them talk about things that do effect politics... but that's because the politics is bound up with the money.

Another funny thing is that traditionally, anti-war sentiment was identified with the left, while the war machine lived along the right side of the spectrum.

Don't even consider comparing the war policies of the last few Dem presidents to Trump's record.

All that... and I am NOT a Trump supporter. I think politics is a foul game. I'm just pointing out your absurd positions.

CWG, I wouldn't sweat the title. The story is within the grouping of the chapters. So it should be a problem with associating all three chapters.

This chapter may be out of sequence in the A-Z listing for LW, again should be no biggie.

Liked the final chapter. Full marks. Pay no mind to the liberal snowflakes.

They should go to the wedding. On their honeymoon they should blindside her by making her sit by while her new husband cucks her with other 16 women for the next month. At the end of the month he should send her a telegram congratulating her again on her marriage and telling her he hopes she enjoyed her wedding gift, getting to experience the same love in her new marriage that she gave him in theirs.

Cookingwithgas, as I've said a number of time, you're one of the cream of the authors who've come on this site recently. No question about it, you are very talented. That said, the "I'm so much smarter than all of you" posts aren't a good look at all.

Painfully boring and pretentious...

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Excellent story!

But ...

Who needs chem-trails, complicit pilots, aircraft mechanics etc. ?

For about a century, all US American car drivers were complicit in the biggest environmental crime of all time. When Japanese drivers used K-cars with motors of about half a cubic liter and most of European drivers used cars with motors of about a liter, US Americans drove cars with motors of about three-four-five liters and three-four-five times higher fuel consumption of full-leaded gas. Just look up tetraethyl-lead, Rockefeller, Ethyl and you'll know what I mean. Also look up the effects of heavy metal (specifically lead) poisoning: mental retardation, aggressiveness etc. Of course, karma being a bitch, you know what happened to Rockefeller's heir, eaten by the Maori he was researching.

I hate to be negative, but this most incoherent story I have read on Lit. Maybe a reader has to already share in the author’s bizarre fever dream for the story to make sense. I don’t.

phill1cphill1cabout 2 months ago

not a whole lot redeeming here. Who even cares?

AnonymousAnonymousabout 2 months ago

I tried to make sense of this story but struggled. There were too many sub plots that weren't explained properly. I'm going to go with the wife had an opportunity to be fucked by 16 blokes on a tropical island and took it whilst deciding not to tell her husband until he was there. There were all sorts of excuses made but she and the other wives basically just wanted lots of extra cock which they got in spades and pretended it was "for science and humanity" of course it was and the 16 blokes all being young buff studs probably all with big willies was just a coincidence. All the rest of the conspiracy theories may be based on real possibilities and facts or may be a load of hogwash I have no idea. Sorry but this didn't work for me. Part of it is because the wife in this is like Linda in Feb Sucks. Totally selfish and disrespectful and evil in what she did and it appears she got away with her awful behaviour. I'm going yo try a few more of this authors stories and hope they make more sense and are written more coherently. BardnotBard

Even if it were the chemicals interacting with the vaccine, it's still the vaccine. Without it, in this stories case, no problem.

You would know better than me but I think the chemicals are less of a problem than the engineered plants like wheat.

I do hope his ex dies a slow painful death before the end?

The chemicals that went into tobacco? Hmm. I'd easier believe it was both. Stick a burning weed into your mouth and suck on it. What could possibly go wrong?

Well fuck. Sarah lived.

But then she got a relapse and died shortly after the end of this story. 😁

Five for the first two. Still thinking about four vs five for this one.

Is that you again you pathetic little lemming?

Schwanze1Schwanze1about 2 months ago

I don't understand the comments about not being able to follow the story. Seemed easy to me.

Pugetman,

As they say, follow the money. I'd add follow the power because power begets money. Whatever they are trying to scare you with is what they are using to control you. And it's most likely bullshit or a mixture of facts and bullshit.

While I'm dropping hints, whatever the Marxists, of whatever flavor, are accusing their enemies of is, almost certainly, exactly what they themselves are doing.

nogravy, if you are a young person you better take off the blinders. I am 75 and was one of "them" so I'll be gone before it gets intolerable. If you are so aged, don't worry about it but pray for your kids.

peter944peter94422 days ago

Interesting story but to me there is just to many subplots going on here. I think the intent was good in the end to many moving parts without a strong enough lead theme to work.

AnonymousAnonymous12 days ago

I thought this was possibly one of the worst stories I have read on this site, completely inane and stupid beyond words..
