Ok it was well written and the wife POV was good.

It was interesting like science fiction about a parallel universe where a man acts in a way I cannot identify with.

Nice to read more from the female perspective, I liked the way she enjoyed the sex greatly, yet felt so guilty for not having hubby's explicit "permission" for each individual step further taken, despite having definitive licence to go as far as she felt able, and would indeed have LOST the "game" if she had chickened-out!

I loved her descriptions of her feelings throughout the story, and felt it to be realistic, strong credence always makes the story so much more real, I think. I almost felt like I was there with her!

Here's my only gripe about the story: we never learn her name. She tells one of the rejects her name is Becky but we don't learn whether she gave him a fake name. I skimmed through it again and didn't find any other reference to her identity (other than she is Barry's wife). Maybe that was an intentional omission. I can see the writer making a very subtle point in making her at the same time a woman sharing her deep inner thoughts and paradoxically anonymous, unnamed. In any event, I think it is one of the best stories on this site.
