Needs more so we can see where this ends up.

I’d like to be the proverbial fly on the wall at that birthday party. Tantalizing bit of drama. Thank you.

Very good sequel, but it almost calls for another one.

Still some mileage in this plot methinks

Good follow-up, and you could leave it as this, but you have some promising characters and points of conflict and Donna still needs her say after therapy, so would like to see a continuation.

Let down

After the first chapter and its opportunities,I think this is a big let down,in fact a nothing story.

Is it just me that I can't open the first chapter?

Is the link broken?

Ugh! You NEED a new editor, preferably one who will help you get over the camma diarrhoea you suffer from.

Anonymous, you need to stop leading with your chin

I need to "get over the camma (sic) diarrhoea"?

I have never mentioned Camma (you should have capitalised that, as it's a proper name) who was a Galatian princess and priestess of Artemis.

What was the point of this story? First chapter was enjoyable, this chapter just went no where.⭐️

Nice ending, although another chapter would be great

Part 2 made it better. Gave a better understanding of Charlie's complete breaking of ties with the family. Humanized the story a lot. A part 3 could make the motivations of 'not-spouse' and children more complete but not essential.

Nice to see George recovering.

Thanks for sharing. fregen

Well...

You covered your cheap shot against Charl(whatever).... which was actually a good thing, in the long run.

Now, since there seems to be a desire for a continuation - how about some kind of relationship between George and Charlotte? It would appeal to a rather narrow part of the commentariat, and give warning to those who try to dictate terms to authors...

The characters are now more believable; they have more depth.

Uh? That's it?

and for a totally gratuitous bit of nitpicery...

There is an hour between a 10 am appointment and an 11 am appointment.... not that I can't fix such problems in my head, though it does tend to make for a rougher ride.
