This was like some of the best books and stories I've read, they all end way too soon.

I think that gave me diabetes it was so sweet. 5 stars and faved. Lovely story about a lovely romance.

(10/22/2021) A wonderful read. I love it when Cinderella gets her prince and the wicked witch melts into a puddle,...or the evil sisters cut their toes off,... or was it when she guesses his name,... or was it when they push the witch into the hearth. Well, it's got to be one of those... I think? 5 stars.

Great tale.

As I read this story it got better and better. The linkages between characters in the story was well done and pleasantly surprising, Heather was easily up to 'wicked stepmother' standard(or should that be down to that standard?) This is the first story I have read of this author and I shall look for others as the writing talent is considerable and I am keen to sample more. Great Job, Thank You 5*****

DAMMIT!! A Great story cut down way too soon. I wanted and yes I know that is the old cliche "Leave them wanting more...". But Heck I would have read AND enjoyed that story so much more if it were three or four or ...TEN times longer. You are a great writer and I know that type of story is common BUT you did it so well!! I enjoyed it and was in a good place after reading it but it left me craving MORE. So I will continue reading your catalogue hoping (know there will be other gems) that I will find another story of this level of this calibre of enjoyment!

I can't even say how many times I've read this one, but I love it every time!

I like this story very muchand think it needs a follow on,so we get to know how they get on,especially Heather's reaction to realising who Bill is.

This'un is a keeper to be read at least a couple of times to get the full flavor. Worth a 5 all day long but don't tell Heather .....

Only problem with this story is that I can’t seem to find part 2.

This has been one of my favorites since I first read it.

This seems cut off at the end.

I always come back to this story when I want a little laugh and romance. The only thing more I would ask would be an epiloge of there life how many kids there wedding her mother also finding someone and Heather maybe on husband 6.

I think I have read this story five times now, every time I have a smile plastered on my face when I finish. I can feel the emotion of Bill falling in love with Jenny, smile good natured at the story unfolding and love the ending with the proposal.

I have read this story repeatedly. It is like taking a walk in comfortable shoes. You don't mind the time and you throughly enjoy yourself.

I have read this story many times and love it. The ending is rushed, but by that point I am smiling and chuckling to myself. 5 * thank you.

I enjoyed this story, but proposing to a woman you've been reacquainted with for about two days is a bad move.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Humor, romance, a little sex, what's not to like?

Seriously? That's the first story on this website I read that just outright skips most of the erotica part. What's "Literotica" without the erotica? You tell me!

Then the protagonist proposes the day after they got romantic? That's just plain foolish.

I started to smile as I first started reading as I had read it before, I smiled all the way thru this wonderful story. Very well thought out and the humor was great. I think it would make a great movie. 10 stars.

I feel sorry for the anon that was disappointed there was no 'erotic' in the story as he sure doesn't have a romantic bone his his body nor a sense of humor. There are many stories on this site that have nothing but 'erotica' in them, why "waste" you time reading some "good" writing. If you not happy with what you've got then get what makes you happy!

It was great. Only thing, I wish there'd been one more chapter to complete it and not end so abruptly. Still loved it.

To anon 1 month ago.: Less is more in story telling. Some go into great detail "her 38DD breasts" to mean big, while others say "ample" and let you paint your own picture. The MC reacquaints with his childhood friend. No sparks yet, but she has feelings for him. When she becomes a freshman, he notices that she's a tomboy no longer. Before he can do anything about it, the family up and moves. Time passes. With education, life experiences and a better wardrobe, he's a dweeb no longer. When she's finally clued in, they consummate their new relationship. Some stories describe the sex in infinite detail, even including the sperm count in the footnotes. RA Heinlein "...and that's all I'm going to say about my honeymoon." says plenty. Oh, and Marshalien? 5 stars. I hope my summation was acceptable.

I was feeling a little click baited that there was no actual fishing in this story.Until I realised that the card card game also goes by the name "Go Fish". DUH! In saying that though it was a feel good return home story.Romantic and humorous and not overly sexual as befits.I agree with a lot of the commenters that it ended abruptly but all the indicators were there for a "and they lived happily ever after".

Great story overall. I’m a little surprised by the sudden change to the sex scene. There was great story buildup then the plot went a little too fast at that point. Great humor and story.

One fun read. Second fun read, actually. I wish it were longer, but I still gave it a 5 the first time through and can't go any higher than that.

Great story! I do think that it ended just a little short, and could have continued to destroy the older sister for a bit more btb karma.

Such an abrupt ending to a good story

Excellent story, well told. The only thing I would have preferred to see changed was the ending to have been fleshed out a bit. It was so sudden, with no time for Heather to choke on her own pompousness! 5*

Have read this numerous times,,,always loved it, not too long, funny and smart... tho realized this reading Jen's really a tart, going into his bath and stripping down to her presumably modest schoolmarm lingerie, and coming out and smoking Bill's Big Willie-and she SWALLOWS!-presume that was the REAL moment he realized he had to put a ring on it...

PS after 1st reading this went into my All-Time Greats folder
