I liked the ending. Stores like the seem to enter drag on or become too serious. I loved it

I enjoyed the story very much and I’m very glad it had a more or less happily ever after vibe… But I just couldn’t let it end if I was writing it without revenge… Now maybe I spent too many years in the army blowing things up and Jack does not have that kind of background… But if it had been me I would’ve found out the location of the company and burned to the ground

I understand your feelings, but we've read a hundred stories that do that, and it changed the texture of the story. I like happily ever after, sorry!

I asked Jack the same question back when Bill showed up ...but it would have made shorter story. Great ending. I do wish there was more story, but would not be happy with any ending as I am invested in the story. Thank you for sharing.

I agree with others about wanting more for the story. The ending almost shouts that there is more to it. As you can tell I enjoyed the story very much.
