I really enjoyed this story! I especially liked the compromised David's inner voice being disgusted with him, yet he didn't listen to it and had a wonderful experience. Conflict always makes these stories more human in my opinion.

Five eggplants for this one. Wow, hot

I'm pretty sure this is the first of your stories I read, the flow and voice of your writing felt new to me. I loved David's inter monologue and the quiet confidence Avery exuded even though she was clearly worried about David's reactions throughout. Loves how you captured addiction through David's life and the scene in the liquor store, just a really amazing story all around. My only complaint would be I wish that it had been longer!
