As always, please follow my Profile or Twitter to keep up to date with news and announcements.

Chapters are published in advance for Patreon supporters, and early next month, I'm looking to publish an exclusive "Chapter 7.5". It'll be a fun and frisky side-story from Elena's point-of-view that helps bridge some of the events of this chapter and the next -- stuff that didn't fit the main story the way I wanted to tell it, but stuff worth sharing with enthusiastic fans of this series.

I'm enjoying the characters and the story. However, I was surprised how quickly Benson forgot that he needed to be on the watch for someone with odd scarring or other physical marks such as a bruised cheek and bloodied split lip.

Has he forgotten? We haven't seen his reaction yet. That'd be a bit obvious, after just explaining it, wouldn't you think? :D

Really happy you're paying attention, though. Trying to make sure there are things to keep readers guessing, from chapter-to-chapter. As I'm sure you can tell by now, I'm a big fan of cliffhangers and leading questions to wind up the next story. Every little trick in the book to keep you peeps hooked :p
