Char's eyes began to fill as she heard the desperate plea. Her inner warmth filled her without a thought as she did just the opposite, she pulled him close to her and cuddled him like a mother with a child.

Anonymousalmost 11 years agoI hate that her name is Charmel (I much prefer the 'Char' that she does not and find it far more professional than her given name) and I hate how she calls her friend, "baby girl" over and over again. Other than that, I love the story so far. Its so different from what I've read before.
Anonymousalmost 11 years agoI really love how you have gone into what both characters are deling with. I am glad you have done something original and I really hope at the end that Terry and Charmel end up happy. Make something bad happen to Henry and vante and the mother.

Anonymousalmost 11 years agoWhile it's a great story, you need an editor, so many sentences without correct punctuation, words just ran into each other. The lack of commas where they are supposed to be...

Usually, it's the woman who is weak and the strong man will come and rescue her, but to be able to see the vulnerable side of a man is awe inspiring. Great work and I'm looking forward to seeing how Terry evolves in your following chapters.

IronDragonabout 11 years agoMan, I hope you get the next Chapter up soon. This one was disturbing, thought provoking, and an all around masterpiece! The poor kid's mom and "stepdad" need to get what's coming to them. Preferably with a LOT of violence and bloodshed. People like them give the human race a bad name.
