@anon - there's a difference between "faith based on trusting that a person behaves a certain way", and "blind faith that flies squarely in the face of overwhelming evidence that the person is willing to make poor and damaging choices". If she was so in love with him, **should wouldn't have put herself in situations where he would have had to worry about her fidelity** - it's not like they were both dirt poor and she absolutely needed those jobs. No, she was doing for selfish, uncaring reasons - which means she was MORE likely to cheat, not less. As for deathbead statement, we all love to make ourselves look better to others, and a dying person is no exception. Unless she was a deeply religious person confessing to a priest, basic psychology tells us she would have said whatever (truth or false) would make her seem better to others, especially him.
... in other words, TL;DR: the author showed a LOT of reasons to doubt her fidelity, and absolutely NO reason to be sure of it other than her self serving assurances.
Wonderful Story telling! did she or didn't she? only her hair dresser knows for sure..lol
This wonderful author is one of the very few on this site with the imagination and talent to
create a beautiful love story while still having a bit of an edge to it. He takes no short cuts in
his character development and the result we 'know' his players and can 'feel' their pain and
anguish. I guess we'll never know if she cheated or not..but this is a tremendous tale of a loving
marriage of two professional people who both have careers pulling at them. There's never a dull
moment when you're married to a 10, so there's always drama..but hell! without the drama there
insn't much of a story :) Another great job BH! 5 stars!
Great story. But not personally a fan of the last line. When you meet someone that special, who is taken from you too early, forever really is a thing. I know I am like that with my wife of 31 years. Sex meh. That is a personal decision. But love and intimacy with another. Nah. The memories would be enough. For me at least. Though I don't judge other people.
Good story, very touching. That’s about the way I feel about my wife. She’s been gone three years now and I see no need at all to look for her replacement. So I don’t, and I’m fine with that.
Thanks for the story, BH76.

Wonderful deep love. And despite some of the challenges to their marriage they were always truly in live with each other. Lot of courage on her part despite all the temptations to never stray and never be tempted. Personally would have preferred the author omit the last line. Sometimes one true love is enough. Though sex with another person is fine. But their hearts are forever entwined. 5 blazing stars.
Great story!!!
Faith and trust are easy when there is nothing to test them.
How do you react when they are testes is the true measure of the depths of a person's trust and faith.
For the purposes of the story, we're supposed to believe it *looked* bad but that she was faithful.
The kind of pictures that paparazzi can get can easily imply one thing when the reality is something different.
Sex tapes which look questionable are easily disbelieved considering how easy it is to make good quality sex tapes.
Sorry she died because I think she was faithful.
Liked the story and it could have been longer but the end needed to be filled out more ...or her saying find someone else
Why does everyone insist on killing off good (if somewhat complicated) wives but not the cheating skanks who should burn to death (not die of smoke inhalation) painfully.
WOW….a love for the ages totally destroyed with the last sentence. I truly wish you could give negative stars. I guess it is wrong of me to believe I would find on a sex sit4 an author who believed a man could go without sex ecause of his love. Pity.
Wow! I was just getting ready to light into the MC with a withering character assassination, then suddenly the twist that brought the whole thing together silenced my venomous tongue! Very well done.

Nice story but I would have preferred another ending, removing the last two sentences and replacing them with, for example:
I grabbed the phone and searched the phonebook for Shae's name.
I realized I was smiling sweetly as I deleted her number.
A truly great loving wife story with a true loving wife. Sad thar she died. Personally after that type
of love and marriage, I would never remarry. Maybe a friend with benefits, but Gianna would be the only one to have my heart. But to each their own. 5 stars.
Joe and their family were always going to come in second to her wants and desires. As the story states she had made millions and she had already accepted the offer. And as moving as the confession was on her death bed that she had never cheated, people like her have the ability to convince themselves of whatever they want and believe it. Again she loves her young family but walks away for five months, ridiculous. There’s an old saying ‘where there’s smoke there’s fire’. She always had a ready answer whenever he caught her in something shady looking. What about what he didn’t see? I think the best thing that happened was her passing away and now he can find what true love really is. LM
