You describe all the feelings and emotions so well, and her thoughts expressed in a way that makes her empathetic and "real" to me. First person story telling done well, like this, is so sexy and satisfying to read. Thank you.

I usually read on my phone in the LIT app, which allows me to rate stories but unfortunately not to comment. This story was so good I HAD to find it in browser mode so that I could reward you with the positive feedback you earned.

BTW... Although narratively outstanding, the story could use a bit more proofreading to correct the occasional errors that interrupt the flow of reading. Just a minor irritation, not enough to affect my high rating. Examples: some typos, and at least one case of a word that could go in two places in a sentence but accidentally got left in both places.
