Click hereReluctantly, Joan Watson limped slowly out of the room and went to answer the knock on the door. The scowl on her face was replaced with a beaming smile when she saw who was standing on the pavement outside number 221B.
"Good afternoon, Doctor Watson," came a familiar voice. "How nice to make your acquaintance again. I understand there is a celebration taking place here. May I come in?"

Great start to what I think will be an entertaining series. Keep going, please.
What a wonderful story, you have been a busy girl. Love the storyline and the characters. I do admire your taste in music and went scurrying to play both of those songs you mention. Most people will be more familiar with the WetWetWet version of the Troggs song and I have to tell you that Gene Pitney is one of my favourite singers from that era. Although I do prefer the duo he did with Marc Almond when they recorded Something's got a hold of my heart.
But enough of my waffling on. On the constructive criticism note, I noticed that a mysterious woman called Olive appeared twice, just a typo I am certain.
The beauty of these characters is you already have a mountain of very interesting storylines to explore.
5 Stars.
