I read the first 3 books, then paused my reading a few months to wait until most of book 4 was online, so in the past few days I read through book 4, now I have only one last chapter to wait for, to finish this book!

All the fights, the humor and camaraderie. All this comes together in an awesome chapter, I really hope they can get some rest now, for a few chapters. So Mike finally gets a chance to fix the house, and I do hope Jenny is alright..

OMG, again I find I can't stop reading it. So much going on, The Queen is finally showing her real self. But it is still not what we think. Love the drama and tension. I have said it a few time Annabelle, this needs to become a tv series.

Frankly (and maybe it was all the beer over this weekend) I was kinda "ehhh" until Death showed up. The personality you put on Death, and the fact he was very interested in tricking as opposed to treating, was awesome. Keep it up, and thank you for a very fun series.

That was a good one but I think you owe us another good one to make up for the cliffhanger last chapter. :-)

Awesome writing as always. Loved it how you're able to close everything towards a happy ending. Great going - loved your imagination and direction of the story.

Few remarkable things:

- Girls are all part of Mike's soul now, helping him fight the Queen

- Death and Sully working together

- Sarah's come back; that villain girl is bad and sexy at the same time; would love to hear more encounter with her in ways Mike can fight best ;)

- Tink and cat girl being friends

Jenny deserves justice as well, now that she's been a sort of good girl. There should be another story with Mike/Jenny and witch Elizabeth where she gets back to her. Perhaps get her back to normal form w/o being caged in the doll only. Maybe involve Sarah too ;), that witch is hot too.

Yep I decided tha i wiil re read book 4 once next chapter is delivered.

I feel I may have missed some clues between releases. That's not a comic or a short release novella.that's a book!

Annabelle I am reading other good stories but you keep it in the top notch.

About the Fairy Queen, my bet is that she wont become a sex partner less a lover.. I see her as new protector and ally , maybe paying a visit now an then.

You open a lot of doors in each turn of the story, just like the house your book is becoming endless. Remeber to find end games at least for some of them.

After reading Dead and Horny, I was excited to see if/when Lily would be the unexpected ace-in-the-hole for Mike in the Dreamscape. But to see not just her but many others there, I'm excited at both how the duel turned out and at learning how the heck all of them are there. Great work as always and looking forward to the final chapter of this book!

Once again I am left wanting more you are a great writer and I can't wait to read more.

What's even more: i have actually skipped over some sex scenes just because I wanted to know where the story would take them next, I was that enthralled. I hate to see the series coming to an end (all be it not soon) the next chapter will end book four, and it sounds like book Five maybe the end of it all. You have truly made a wonderous universe and marvelous characters that inhabit it. I hope that book five will incorporate the characters from your spin offs or prequels'. I think it would be a nice way to close everything out. While I am sad to see the end in sight I can't wait to see what you come up with next. I still think you could do wonders if you turned your stories into animated movies, and Anime would allow you to do both a 'true' version and a 'public' version that could make you the next J.K. I love it , like all your other stories , keep them coming it keeps me alive.

Interesting bit of comparison just occurred to me. How very 'Unbreakable' a similarity the main character and his nemesis have. In goal and personality they are opposites. But, in the makeup of what they are, they are almost the same. Iirc the shadow was described as string holding fragments of other souls together to keep him whole. Whereas Mike is a lovingly crafted quilt. Both are patchworks of others, but made with very different means. Fascinating.

It is not what we are that defines us, but who we are. And through it all, Mike couldn't just watch someone, not even an enemy, suffer as the queen was suffer because of him. Not without trying to help. For good or for ill, that's just who he is. That's what made him such a strong "player" at this game. He's not playing a game. Just trying to live his best life, and help those he loves and cares for to do the same. Interesting I would have this story saved for a bit before finally reading, but read it after another with an interesting phrase in it. Another "bad guy" was talking to the "good guy" and told them they would be an amazing dominator; because the people they had with them would give their lives to protect him, and do so of their own free will. Out of love. This other MC was also creating a home for the horny with him, but he did understand more of the benefits that could result from it. Doesn't have to make him or Mike better or worse than the other. At the end of the day, love is love. Though there is a special bit of shine you get from reading about Mike's innocence. Especially when you get moments like his battle with the Queen. Where his innocent and caring work earns him his chance at success, instead of it happening out of the blue.

I could take myself through circles about that over and over again. Suffice to say, I love your work. Thank you so much. Be well, and also... The tags for this story are hilarious: "full sized candy bars" Death is a pretty chill dude here. Good on him and his spider. I hope Mike loves it as much as we do ^.^

I hate waiting every month for the next one. I understand why we have to but God do I hate the wait. This series is so enticing.

I have read all of HFHM over the past month and I have to say your way with each character here makes me think they maybe real people, or maybe part of your self. Wow! Fantastic fight scene and a great chapter. Very nice that death finally played a bigger role by mostly soloing the shadow.

And the twist that Elvis was actually posessed by the king of the fye was just mind-blowing. And that Sarah and her mother are back is cool, too, I guess ;)

I love what you did with the queen. Mike never stops amazing me for how much of a kind soul he is, I am so interested in the shadow now and how Sarah will now fit into all of this. I cant believe I am actually rooting for comeback of things like Emily's redemption. I am really interested in the dryad or what Mike will connect his soul with next 😏 but all in all a wonderful book just like all of the ones you have written so far ! I adore your style so much more then I ever have before and I wish you could appreciate how far you have come and how good you writing and pacing is for this story and adding bits everywhere. That was a well placed one and i went back and sung it in my head

It's amazing how you take a serious climactic fight for survival and the protection of everything Mike and we the readers love and toss in bits of humor. "Feeling crabby?" The rock paper scissors reference in the middle was just fucking hilarious.

With the fairy queen I feel like you you used author's judo to twist a struggle for dominance and survival into a redemption story where the zero sum game is wiped away. Everyone can calm the fuck down, heal from their wounds, and love each other.

As an author, you don't just have one trick. The fight with the shadow is the knockdown drag out fight for survival that it appears to be. Our heroes kick ass and send smokey back where he belongs.

I love your writing, and I'm very grateful that you've chosen to share with us all. Please take time to yourself and take care of yourself. From the beginning, I've always been deeply touched by your words in the intro and the outro author's notes. I always picked up a deep sense of compassion for all of us out here in the world. I've actually teared up sometimes reading your author's notes telling us to be good to one another. The world seems to have far too little of that today. Puppetmasters in politics, social, and traditional media want us all hating and fearing one another, and there just isn't a good reason for it all besides the selfish motives of the manipulators.

I love the story, I can't seem to put it down. I also like that the mother is reunited with her daughter, I was starting to feel bad for her.

Wow so many individual battles to keep straight, yet all interconnected. The little touches like Dana in a faredy cage to keep her safe during the lightening storm.

I love the way you portray Death's character, he's like a big kid! It was fun to see him kick some ass though.

I'm buying the books. I don't know if you have a patreon or some sort of way to donate. But that would be cool.

What better way to reveal some implications of Soul bonding but in a climactic duel to the death!?

Once again, Mike, and the entire house is saved in spite of his own flaws, more by everyone coming together, showcasing their own agency and powers.

Like Sulyvahn, who I just knew we were going to be glad to have around when inevitable havoc started.

When the faerie queen was first introduced,

I think there was ample foreshadowing that this was a problem that was never going to be resolved with brute force solutions, much less out-tricking someone who probably invented such a thing, nor should it be, it's not in the nature of our lead character.

The queens vendetta came across as less to do with her stated reasons, it was obviously far more personal-the shattered, empty throne driving this home so early on.

Not for the first time in this series, I'm happy to see a conclusion coming with a story of redemption and reconciliation, albeit with a long and delightfully convoluted path there.

Glad to see some plot threads tied up neatly, others still needing a bit of work, and a few more only getting more unraveled for later events...

Amazing.

Story is fantastic, the writing is solid, and the characters are engaging.

However, the tale says Mike loves them all in his own way but Mike doesn't know what love is. He likes them and feels a need to protect, comfort, and "service" them but that is not the same thing as love. That is a duty and he feels like he is failing it when he cant spend enough individual time with them.

Even so, Mikes misguided thoughts on love don't impact this story because it is by its very nature a Fantasy.

Great work and thanks for sharing all this with us. 5 Stars.

While I do feel for Queen Bitch, she's still wrong. The fault was with her husband, not the human race. She needs to let Cecilia make her own decisions.
