I'd like to leave a comment, but I can't see what I'm typing right now. Must have some type of infection or other. Damn eyes are still leaking.
Although quite predictable, I just love it - maybe it's my "romantic streak", maybe it‘s because I find myself in some places (I love children, but „it takes 2 to tango“ ... ) - anyway : 5/5 stars !
Great story! It felt a bit rushed, but that's not a bad thing. I think a six or seven pager might have been about right. Perhaps draw out the lawsuits and police activities a bit more - add some drame about whether they'll turn out the right way. But even as it stands, it was a great story. Thanks!

Some thoughtful suggestions there. Thanks! In the original story, the bad guys were going to kidnap the baby and only return her if the police backed off arresting them. But it was supposed to be a Christmas story, and that seemed too dark for that. It would have generated multiple pages and changed the entire feeling of the story. Or so I felt. I dropped it in favour of quick resolutions to the problems and kept it as a feel-good story.
Daddy's Girl. (Both of them; madonna and child)
This also would be a nice Hallmark Holiday Special... family values?
No matter how many stars were available to vote on, You'd Get Them ALL!
YOU DID GREAT !
THANK YOU !

A great story that is worth much more than the *5 I gave it. After more than 30 years as a soldier and then big city ER and trauma RN, I have seen and done too much to be very sentimental. Very few stories in Literotica raise any emotion other than anger or disgust that anyone could be so sick. But this story actually brought tears. That takes some good writing, and you did it here. Thanks for posting it.
@26thNC Thank you for the kind comment. Truth is, this story moves me to tears too, despite multiple reads and writing it. In its own way, it reminds me of the birth of my children and their growing up.
Merry Christmas to you and all my readers. I do appreciate you.
You dunn guuuud! I don't usually read this category, but stumbled across this and gave it a read. I completely enjoyed it, and will explore your other offerings.
A very sweet, feel good story. The pacing felt a little rushed with the result that things fell into place a bit too neatly. I like that Julie moved in with Royce very quickly but maybe the awareness of falling in love could have taken a little longer? It might have been entertaining for Royce’s mother to meet Julie and Emma for Christmas before their open confessions of love? ( So that she could set him straight, lol)
Finally, too many exclamation points.
None of my comments should be taken as strong criticism. I definitely enjoyed it, and I will be reading Hidden Boss.
The ABSOLUTE rule of babies, Eat, Poop, Sleep, not always in that order, but always that list. With occasional giggle, drool, smile, laugh, cry, yawn, etc... God Love Them.
