"What are the chances of all of us being pregnant, Danni?"

"It happened to mom the first time."

"You did have to bring that up, didn't you?"

"You asked me, so I told you."

"Okay Danni, get sick and I will round up the girls."

*******************************************************

When she nipped him on the tip of his prick he laughed. He told her she would need an air hose to blow him up right now. He flipped her over onto her back and climbed on top of her.

Sharon asked, "What happened to the air hose?"

"It will be around sooner or later. However, did you ever know of four teenage girls who listened to instructions exactly?"

"Are you saying my darling little girls would try to sneak back up here and try to catch us in the act?"

"There is no doubt in my mind. Why don't we shower, get dressed, sit on the veranda, and have some coffee. They will probably run in thinking we are in the middle of screwing our brains out, and we will catch them instead. I will call the front desk have them inform us when they are on their way up."

"Fred, I really believe what you said about yourself. You know how people tick and how they think. You will one-step ahead of everyone else."

They were just barely out of the shower when the phone rang, advising them the girls were in the lobby. The manager said that Danni was ill, which was the reason they were back so early.

Fred told the manager to keep them there for five minutes. He was getting the house Doctor to look over Danni. The girls tried to argue their way out of it, but it was no use. After the allotted time was up, the manager told the girls, the doctor was on another call and he would have him call the penthouse, when he was free.

The girls ran to the elevator and went over there plans to attack their mother and Fred, while they were in bed. Quiet as church mice, they slid the card into the door, opened it, and slid inside. Not wanting to take a chance of being heard, they undressed where they were, and in single file, they walked slowly to the bedroom door. At the count of three, they screamed, charged into the room, and jumped on the bed.

Cindy yelled, "They fooled us, they are in the other bedroom." The girls ran out of the master suite into the second bedroom, and no one was there, either.

Sandy noticed the living room drapes blowing and walked out on the veranda, followed by her sisters.

"What are you two doing out here, mom?"

"We are doing what adults do, darling. We are having coffee and talking. However, I am sure our neighbors are enjoying the sight of four naked young women standing here talking with us."

"Mom, no one can see us up here; it is much too high."

Fred pointed to the hotel across the street and said, "Sandy, would you waive to those eight young gentlemen, staring at you from the Marriott Hotel. They were playing tennis, but the sight of you four standing there has made them want to play a different game."

The girls looked and saw the men waving their tennis rackets at them. Instead of shrieking and running back inside, they stood there and waved back.

Fred said to Sharon, "I guess you're right; they are ready to screw everything in sight. I will send those gentlemen the number to our penthouse and have all of them come up."

Sandy said, "You wouldn't dare."

"If you are going to act like a trollop, I am going to treat you like one. Make up your mind."

"It was only a joke, Fred."

"This kind of joke gets you raped, and killed. Don't you ever do something that stupid again! Go inside, get dressed, and sit down on the couch. Your mother and I have something we want to discuss with the four of you."

Dejected, the girls walked into the living room, and awaited the verbal tongue-lashing they thought they were going to get; plus whatever news Fred and their mother had decided upon as to their future together, or apart.

Sharon said, "Fred let's strip and go in there and knock their panties off. You and I both know they wanted to join us in bed. After we tell them what we have decided to do, we will order them to sit on the couch and listen to us make love. They are not to touch themselves; or each other while we are in the bedroom. If we catch them doing so, there will be no sex for three months. If we catch them in the middle of an orgasm, there would be no sex for six months. If we catch them touching each other, they will be separated into different homes for one year, even if they are pregnant. After the screaming and yelling is done, you will threaten them with giving them back to your owners; that will shut them up. We will go into the bedroom and start making love. After I come in first time, I will continue ranting and raving about you still being in me and pumping harder, while you go out and check on the girls. Yell something at them that you know will get them in here in one second to be with us, and we will have a free-for-all. What do you think Fred?"

"Sharon, I love you, and I love all of your daughters because of what you made them. If we do this once, there will be no end to it. Are you absolutely sure this is what you want?"

"I am taking the girls to the doctor when we get home this week. If they are not pregnant, they are going on the pill. If they are pregnant, they will start their prenatal care. Do we know how to contact you?"

"Yes, I inserted half the message into Sandy and the other half into Cindy, just in case they were checked by a doctor after this weekend. They will not be, since I purchased all of you from my owners."

"Inserted; that sounds ominous. Exactly where did you insert it?"

"Exactly where your mind is thinking I did."

"Fred, you are horrible; ingenious, but horrible."

"Cindy didn't seem to think so."

"Cindy would not think a rock thrown at her head would be a bad thing either."

"The girls must be wondering what is keeping us. Let's go in there and give them a lesson to live by." Fred helped Sharon up; they undressed quickly, getting more shouts from the men on top of the Marriott. They waved, and walked inside to the startled looks of four teenaged girls.

32. Knots and Not's

Susan walked out of her front door to greet Patricia, when she arrived. She asked, "How are you feeling, Patty? I would guess it is not one of your best days."

Patricia patted Susan's expanding abdomen and said, "You would be surprised Susan. I am not as upset as I thought I might be. I did what I do best; I analyzed the subject from every angle and came up with a logical conclusion. Our marriage would not have worked, and I would never have asked for a divorce. I am too proud to admit defeat. I would have stayed with him, and tried to change him, regardless of how long it took. I would have ruined my life if I married him today, and that is why I am here, instead of there."

"Patty, I have six bedrooms, twelve horses, and 350 acres of land for you to play on. I just have one thing to warn you about before you step inside. There is a dead man walking around my house, and you are never to mention it to anyone, with the exception of your father."

Patricia's eyes opened wide, and she saw Susan start to grin. "Alan; Alan is alive?"

"No, Alan is dead. I have a dead man walking around my house, Patricia."

"I watched you on television. You should be an actress, you were magnificent."

"Wait until you see him, and you will know why."

"Elmore, bring Patty's bags to the west bedroom. I want her to see the sun setting over the mountains."

"Okay Susan, did you hear what the squad is getting Sergeant as a wedding present?"

"We have had enough killing around here for two generations, Elmore. Please tell me he is not going to want to kill the entire police force."

"We are going to take the precaution of removing the firing pin from his gun, just in case. We ordered a nose ring from a cowboy catalog: the kind they put through the inside a bulls noses. We had it plated in gold, and inscribed with the saying, "A DYING BREED."

"Elmore, I believe you guys outdid yourself. It is perfect."

"It was Amanda's idea."

"What else would be new?"

"Come on Patricia; let me introduce you to the dead man."

"Alan, where the fuck are you?"

"Where am I at 8:30 every morning? It must be the treadmill, because I hate this fucking machine."

"As you can see Patty, he is as congenial as ever."

Patricia looked at Alan and gasped. "Alan, you are skin and bones. What happened to you?"

"Do all women have defective memories? You were there when it happened. I saved your lives, and nearly lost mine."

"Don't let him play on your sympathies, Patty. He is just hungry, and he cannot eat until he finishes his thirty minutes on the treadmill."

"I need to know what happened to him, no one told us anything, except he died of multiple gunshot wounds. Then we saw the pictures you received, while we were in the airplane. He was smiling and laughing, and we thought you were fine. What happened, please tell me, I have to know."

"Let me take you up to your room and help you unpack. After you freshen up, Alan will have finished his time on the treadmill, and I will have breakfast ready. He will tell you the entire gruesome story his way, and then I will tell you the truth."

"You are trying to ruin my day and it is not even 9 o'clock yet."

Susan replied, "You ruin my day every time you wake up in the morning, and I can't get laid. I am so horny, I am thinking about bringing in a pinch hitter."

"Guys, have a little pity on me, please. After twenty-two years as a virgin, I was supposed to make love for the first time tonight. Yesterday, I find out my fiancé believes in old world Italian values, where a woman should be seen and not heard, while in public. So instead of losing my virginity tonight, I am going to be looking out a window at mountains. For the first time in my life I was looking forward to having sex, because I was so in love with my man. Now I have no prospects at all. So if you would save your arguments over getting laid, for another time, I would appreciate it."

"Patty, this is only friendly banter for us. We are sorry if we hurt you. It will not happen again. Let's go take care of your clothes, and we will sit down to breakfast." Susan gathered Patricia into her arms and led her up the stairs. It did not take long to put her things away.

Alan was stepping off the treadmill as they came downstairs. He kissed Patty and Susan, and told them he would be down, after he showered.

As they were eating breakfast, Alan gave his soliloquy of what happened at the hospital, up to the point where he passed out. Susan picked up at that point, and told Patricia what she had found out from nurse Callaway. When all the explanations were completed, Patricia was aghast, but so happy that Alan was safe and alive.

"According to Stephano, the guy inside the Justice Department has told the families that you are dead. They have checked everything out, from the hospital records, newspaper clippings, cemetery registers, and the gravesite. I don't believe they will be looking for you, ever again, but I would keep your new appearance, just in case. Do not go back to looking like Alan Robbins. Someone may catch on, and it could start someone asking questions again. This whole mess started because someone I knew from college bumped into me accidentally. I can see one problem already. The FBI is paying you your full benefits. That means it goes through the Treasury Department. If two people know a secret; it is no longer a secret. I will contact Michael, and warn him about it. He may be able to explain it away, because of the circumstances of your death. However, it is better to have that in writing, before someone asks, then after they start asking questions. My father has more money than he knows what to do with, and I have $64 million sitting in the bank myself. You do not need the government's money. We can set you up for life and keep you safe."

Susan smiled. "I know this house and this ranch may not look like much, but I keep it this way, because I love the way my grandparents built it. I do not need your money, I do not need Alan's money, I have plenty of money of my own, and I am managing Sergeant Money also. He does not have to work. He just does not know what he would do with himself, if he didn't work. Our money started in the 1800s, with the silver rush, and our great, great, great grandparents invested wisely and bought large pieces of land that backed up to the Grand Canyon, Colorado River, and every other waterway in this state. We are quite wealthy ourselves, but thank you for the offer."

"So that's what those thingies were by your computer?"

"Alan, if you weren't so weak I would beat the shit out of you. They are prospectuses, trading forms, and account information on stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and commodities that I trade either electronically or by phone. You said you didn't want to pry into my personal life, even after we were married. I should have hit you then, because it is not my personal life. It is our lives, and this little one in here. You had better start studying these things, because if I die in childbirth, you have to take over."

Alan took her hand in his and squeezed it, until she yelled. "If you die in childbirth, I am going to come after you, and kill you just for the hell of it. I am going to give our child to Cassie, and Sergeant, and haunt you for eternity. You are not leaving me, just like Sergeant would not let me leave you."

"What are you talking about now, Alan?"

"I don't know, I just remembered him yelling at me that I was taking the easy way out. He kept telling me, he was not going to let me leave you, and the baby. Then I heard this really loud sound, and that's all I remember."

"I am going to kill that son of a bitch. That is what he has been hiding from me. He called you back from the nearly dead, because he doesn't want me to be alone again. You may have been dead, or you may have been touch and go; however, that bastard yelled to you that you were still needed here, ordered you to come back to take care of me. That is why he said, I am no longer allowed to aggravate you. I will teach that son of a bitch a lesson he will never forget."

Alan laughed at her. She was fire engine red. He wanted to diffuse the situation, so he asked her if Sergeant had eaten that bagel, yet.

Susan was in the middle of swallowing her coffee, when he asked and the coffee stuck in her throat. She coughed, and Patty started pounding on her back, as Alan laughed.

As she recovered, she looked at Alan with daggers in her eyes.

"I will take that as a yes. Was it the bride-to-be's bagel or someone else's?"

"If you say that to Cassie, the real Alan Robbins will be in that cemetery plot."

Patricia asked, "Do I want to know what is so funny about a bagel?"

"Patty, you told us not to include you in anything involving sex. My husband came up with a novel description of a part of the female anatomy, using a bagel, cream cheese, and/or sour cream. Trust me when I say, you do not want me to explain it to you."

"The five families of the New York mob looked for my father and mother for twenty years and could not find them. I found my father, in less than thirty minutes. I will find out what these items have to do with each other, in short order."

"That is fine with us Patty. It is better that you find out for yourself, then either one of us, explaining it to you."

"Susan, do you have a Wi-Fi set up or do I have to plug my computer in to a telephone outlet?"

"My whole house is a Wi-Fi hotspot. You will have no problem connecting to the Internet from anywhere up to a quarter of a mile away from here. Let me write down the code for you, so you can sign in on it."

Patricia had been working on a bagel problem, on her laptop for more than two hours. Susan was working on her computer doing her financials, and Alan was resting on the porch.

The silence was broken when Patricia yelled, "Alan, you are gross."

He yelled from the porch, "It took you longer to figure it out, than it did to find your father."

"I know what a man looks like, Alan. I had to compare every part of the female anatomy to a bagel. It did not immediately occur to me that I would have to cut it in half, and turn it on its side to get the appropriate view. Then I had to figure out what cream cheese and sour cream had in common. That was the hardest part. I was about to give up, when I said to myself, "He wins; there is no sense crying over spilt milk." That image gave me the answer. You are a sick man Alan Robbins."

"Yes, I know, but Susan loves me that way."

"Do you happen to have a brother?"

"Yes, but he's a priest."

"It hasn't mattered to a lot of them, lately."

"Jamie is a straight shooter. He would kill himself, before he hurt a child."

"How much would you like to bet, Alan?"

"Betting is a sin. How about one dollar and it goes to charity?"

"One dollar it is, Alan. When can I seduce your brother?"

"He is in Rome; so he is safe from you, for a while."

"He needs to be safe from me, Alan. I thought I had to be safe from him."

"I believe you talk a good game, Patricia. It is time to put up, or shut up."

"I agree, however, the guy you want to 'put it in me' is 7000 miles away. So I am safe at this moment, and so is he. Goodnight all, I am going to bed, all by myself, again."

As she lay down in bed Patricia looked out at the mountains and she was lonely. She missed the last few days of sleeping in bed with Stephano. For the first time in her life she lay down in bed with a man, and he had honored her wishes. She had done things with him she never thought she would do before she was married. She loved Stephano, with all her heart, but her heart was not stronger than her brain. Her brain told her there was a problem that at this point was insurmountable, unless he changed his attitude towards women. She decided she would call him and see what he had to say.

"Hello Stephano, it's me."

"You're late."

"I know. I guess you got my letter; what do you think?"

"I think you ripped my heart out. I waited at the church for you, and you were no-show."

"You were so sure of yourself, you probably bet your mother I would be there, until 9:59 AM. You never gave it one chance in one thousand that I would ever disappoint you. Your superior male attitude would never think otherwise. You never thought you did anything wrong, which is part of your problem. You don't think there is problem, so therefore there is no problem. Your mother saw it right away. It was the same attitude she lived with every day of her married life. You are your father, Stephano, and if you ever want us to get back together, you are going to have to change. I cannot help you. No one can. It is something only you can do for yourself. I have spoken to many people since my wedding day; you may have said the same thing over and over again. The only way a man can change is if he wants to."

"I got that same speech from my mother, Patricia. I told her the same thing I am going to tell you, "How can you change when you don't know what you are doing wrong?"

"That's easy Stephano, take a voice activated tape recorder with you, and listen to how you speak to people during the day. Listen to how abrupt you are with women, and how friendly you are with men. When you order lunch from your server you are very curt. If it happens to be a waiter listen to how smooth your voice is. I miss you, Stephano. I am in bed by myself, and I don't want to be. I so wanted to be lying next to you, but loving you was not enough. You did not respect me when we were in public. You treated your mother the same way your father treated her. In public, it was like she was not there. I will not be treated like an afterthought. I love you, Stephano; I hope you will call me soon."
