This one is so cruel hahaha. When I first read it I had to stop and take a break for a while near the start, I was so stressed. I love the way you can craft such a believably uncomfortable scenario with characters who so clearly care deeply about each other.

You’re writing is evocative and spends a delightful balance between what is happened how your protagonist is feeling. A real pleasure to read, and I would not object to more of Brooke and Kendra 😊
