Wow! It's been a long time!! And your come back story took me again into a rollercoaster ride but with more intensity this time! I felt the same titillating and nerve wracking excitement of Jess.. I was like watching the game in slow motion.. I smelt the sweet light scent of vanilla behind my head as she was reading the dares.. and I giggled like a school girl on their witty and naughty conversations all over again..and that tingling suspense of guessing who was the Naughty Instigator.. Really well written. I also loved that it was Brooke and decided to read the story a second time with that fact in mind...The first time was a pleasant surprise and the second was just as satisfying...even though I knew who it was. This was so well written. I really enjoyed it. Aside from it being very sexy, there were so many things I enjoyed. I like how it was plausible, and not too exaggerated. I liked how you built it up gradually. I liked the little touches like the faint vanilla scent. I liked how you didn’t bombard us with names, instead you used player number so and so. Lastly, I liked that she was 27 cause that’s how old I was when I discovered I was bi and fell for my now wife.

An amazing story it has everything! intriguing, the slow seduction with notes, the build up was perfect. You kept me wanting to know who your lover was, and only revealed right at the end. Great story writing.

I have almost nothing but praises for this story! The dialogue, the build-up, the "tension" of the unknown -- these things were all done exceptionally well, paced well, and given a quite satisfying finish.

The only criticism I have -- and this might be because I'm a guy -- Jess (narrator) seems to have fallen into the lesbian world quite quickly and fully. There seemed to be no confusion, no turmoil, no indecisiveness. I may be completely unguided and uncomprehending of that world (though I have had 2 gay close friends and 3 lesbian friends at various points in my life).

I was under the impression that a sudden change like this could cause internal conflict, a dilemma of sorts that messed with the mind (and the heart) and could potentially wound the other party who was much more certain. And perhaps you have that planned in a sequel, with Jess becoming aware of her sudden transition and shift from "straight" to "lesbian." Though I have my doubts, since there was such a strong and active voice she gave throughout the narration of her own inner transition, as short and sudden as it was.

Please don't take my ramblings for a "I didn't like it" kind of criticism. I only comment like this on stories that make me think, that captivate me, or that have such a realistic feeling to them I have to analyze and contemplate the motives, the reasoning, the plausibility of each and every action of each person, as if they're real. That alone is the biggest compliment to an author -- you've created a world in which the characters have so much life breathed into them that they feel real and alive.

Delaying the revelation of Naughty Instigator until nearly the very last line was absolutely brilliant! But this almost *BEGS* the story to be continued. And that could honestly be why I had to write this comment out to you, why I thoroughly enjoyed this story but am left wondering if that sudden transition could actually have happened.

I would imagine Jess would have had more backstory if she was "unknowingly" gay her whole life -- more indication to the moments when she was with a guy and it just... wasn't "right." Or horrible wounding moments. Or times where she perhaps "over" enjoyed her time with other girls, but felt awkward, and quickly denied and hid them due to social fears.

But ultimately, there needs to be *something* following up NI and Jess' real-life relationship. My wife and I met online (World of Warcraft), and our online (and even phone call) interactions were much different than when we first met. Jess and NI would have so much "newness" to their exploration. But if their entire relationship is founded upon naughty dares -- that will get old very quickly. They hint at the fact that they feel something more for each other, but that was largely under-developed (or rather not even given a chance to develop since we're left with the reveal of who it is).

I do so hope that you feel like you can explore this story more, and reveal the future of their relationship that is so desperate to be told. Perhaps even give NI the main voice of the sequel.

It's a delight to see Cathy return to the Literotica site. She is one of those authors who put the literate element into the Literotica mashup. She is a superb craftsman, one of the best at designing and executing a story.

Many of the comments call for -- nay, demand -- a follow-up story. These folks need to understand that Cathy is not much interested in post-ludes. For her it's all about the build-up. She has brilliantly built the story up, up, and then further up, only to cut it off at the big reveal. It is masterful. But if you're the type who live only for the destination, who luxuriate in having arrived, you won't find Cathy's almost total focus on the journey very satisfying.

I don't know what Cathy's been doing for the past 5 years, but this marvelous story is worth the wait.

This is the definition of "I couldn't put it down." Very! Well! Done!

I Dare You to read this story and Not love it. The characters in this "whodunit" are so cleverly strung out that everyone's suspect. And Like a good murder mystery, I found myself waiting for the next clue. The imagery jump off the pages and it was hard to stop reading let alone see it end.
