I don’t think it’s a bad story at all. Simple theme and written passionately. You got locked up in some repetitive details that aren’t necessary but some good intensity. The story waffled a bit when you confused the tense which is a shame.

Even though the title could be different, I totally disagree with the previous comment. I really enjoyed the story and appreciate the wonderful author!
