Well, to me this is a sad story. Great, well written, story. Sadly, in my deviant younger days, I met a number of married women (many times with their husbands) where they had got into a rut after 5-7-12-20 years of marriage and mainly the husband, wasn't able to be a more "alpha" dominant type in bed. I agree with Buster2U's initial statement in that I, too, found this chapter to be a sad story. I found both the husband and wife to be unlikeable characters in an unhealthy relationship, and I think any story has to have at least one likeable character to be enjoyable. Here we have a wife who lies to her husband pretty consistently and without any feelings of remorse (she lies about the DVD player, she lies about trips to the sex shop, she lies about her reason for going to bed early the night she wants to play with the dildo, etc.), runs around behind his back, is perhaps a narcissist since she has 2 very young children and yet has plenty of time to be a gym rat, and hides stuff from her husband. The husband claims she isn't a prude and then goes on to describe her sexual behaviours which are the very definition of a prude (she unilaterally controls the "gateway" to their sexual relationship, she only does it missionary or on top/rarely doggy style, she insists that the lights have to be off when they do have sex, she only puts out once or twice a week at most, etc.). The husband is a real piece of work himself. He admits that he is constantly snooping through her things trying to find evidence that she is not really sexually repressed, and he snoops through her browsing history on her phone and laptop to see what she has been reading--just in case she is actually reading erotica or looking at porn. Who would want to be married to either of these two lying, conniving control freaks? He says that his wife calls his dick "the little guy" and laughs ... what kind a man would put up with that type of insulting behaviour? He, too, lies to his wife constantly about his activities while the wife is away with her parents instead of being upfront about everything when she returns? And the detail about going to the electronics store and buying a hidden camera smoke detector, and when confronted by the wife about why he didn't buy enough smoke detectors so that their 5 and 7 year old children could have them in their rooms too, and he lies and says the smoke detectors "were pretty picked over at Home Depot" left me shaking my head. These two numbskulls can go around spending thousands of dollars on country club memberships, golf clubs, tennis equipment, DVDs, dildoes, and hidden cameras and yet their two defenseless little children haven't even had a couple of $40 smoke alarms installed in their bedrooms for 5 and 7 YEARS?! At that point in your tale I felt really sorry for the little kids having to grow up with a couple of lying, conniving, narcissistic parents, and that detracted from any eroticism of your tale. Perhaps you will conclude your tale with DHS removing the little kids from the home when the BBC lover comes over and has sex in front of the kids--which is where I think this tale is headed. As to your writing abilities, you write better than probably 90 percent of the other authors on this site, but I would still suggest that you find yourself a good editor. There are several instances where you use "it's" when the correct word is "its" (e.g., when describing the dildo, you wrote "it's girth", which is jarring to the reader). And when one character addresses another, there should be a comma before the addressee's name. You would not write, "Let's eat Grandma!"--which would imply that cannibalism is forthcoming; you would write, "Let's eat, Grandma!"--which suggests that it's time for lunch or dinner. In your tale you wrote "Jesus Al!", which had me doing a doubletake. These are minor grammatical fixes, and as I wrote above, you write better than probably 90 percent of this site's other authors so please take this critique merely as a suggestion to make you a stronger writer. I gave you 4 stars for this tale. Being a pervert who was once married to a prude like Allie, and who now wishes my ex would have at least bought herself a black dildo, I do, in fact, look forward to reading the next chapter. Good build up so far. Sometimes the use of vocabulary was a little jarring, "pitter patter". While I have a pretty good idea where the story is going, it is a bit different from what I normally see. Hope the next part is just as good.
